Yesterday was my 30th daily post. I’ve officially made it through a whole month of writing every day. ✨
I think I told ya’ll before that my goal is to reach 365 days of daily content. And this is a challenge for me. I’m not that consistent, daily anything kind of person…lol.
Sometimes I’m a full basket of creative chaos. If you’ve met me, you may already know this. 😅
So it hasn’t been easy, but it has been super rewarding and I’m teaching myself a valuable lesson about the power of forming daily habits.
In a few of my previous posts, I’ve talked about the importance of moving the needle forward every day. Small steps…big results.
Well, the past few days I had a few challenges that interrupted my regular schedule, which meant I ended up posting later and later in the day.
Life happens ya’ll! 🤷
But honestly, that discouraged me a little bit. I mean, less than a month in and I’m already struggling?
I started feeling like a failure and wondering if I would even be able to make it through this 365-day challenge.
But then I got a message from a reader and friend, asking me if I was doing a writing challenge so she could join in.
She told me how much she loved these posts, how they had inspired her to write more and that she wanted to keep that momentum going.
That was exactly what I needed to hear. #1 – Validation that these posts are reaching people and that I should keep going, and #2 – I’m not alone. I’m not the only one struggling to change my day-to-day.
So I thought, if any of you have ideas for writing challenges or ways that we can connect more online, please feel free to reply or comment with suggestions. Because I would love to connect with you more and do this thing together! 💖
Also, I’m struggling to come up with a name for these daily reflection letters and I would love your feedback. My hope is to use them to create a workbook for creative entrepreneurs in the future. 🙌🙌🙌
Best,
Chantilly
