This stone barrier looks pretty immovable, right? You can see the ocean waves hitting it, but clearly, they can’t make it beyond the shoreline.
When you look closer though, you can see all of the smaller rocks and bits that make up this fortress.
It’s not as solid as it seems. It is movable. And eventually, it will wash away and leave nothing but grains of sand behind.
The waves, on the other hand, seem flexible and constantly changing. They flow around everything they touch and seem to get nowhere. They hit the barrier and run back out to sea.
But what we don’t immediately notice, is that the waves aren’t phased by any barriers. They will continue quietly doing their thing, slowly and surely, over time and without hesitation.
Like the waves, we might not think we’re really getting anywhere either…until the barriers collapse and our progress is inevitably revealed.
Both our progress and the barriers we encounter can be deceiving, but remember this…nothing is impassable. It just might take more time, strategy and focus to get there.
But it definitely doesn’t mean that you should give up or move on. 💖
Best,
Chantilly
