Sometimes you’ll have moments in your business where the struggle will feel overwhelming.
Sometimes you’ll think about quitting.
Sometimes you will quit.
But you can always pick yourself back up and start again when you’re ready.
5 years ago, I set a goal for myself that I never followed through on.
I started strong, but when life happened, I chose to put those projects on hold.
And that’s ok because I had to focus on family and self-care.
In 2020 though, I want to ensure a forward momentum.
To help me stay on track, I’ve set monthly and quarterly goals.
I review my goals each week and I try to keep them as realistic as possible.
I remind myself that every week won’t be productive. I have to cut myself some slack. That’s why I start with monthly goals, instead of daily or weekly goals.
If I don’t get to it one week, I’ll get it the next. But by the end of the month, I do my best to make sure that I’ve checked everything off my list.
Because you’re a lot more likely to stick with it if your expectations are manageable. 💖
Best,
Chantilly
